Elections Canada Launches Voter Information Campaign

For the 43rd general election, EC is launching its campaign prior to the drop of the writ (pre-election campaign) to increase awareness on the upcoming general election, position itself as the official source of information on the electoral process, and encourage eligible Canadians to register to vote and work in a federal election. The pre-election campaign targets the general population with a focus on first-time voters and other priority groups with lower electoral participation rates.
