Immigration Matters Initiative Features Economic Profile of Medicine Hat
In November 2018, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) launched the Immigration Matters initiative. Most recently, economic profiles of communities across Canada were added to this website. These profiles use labour market information to show the role that immigration has played, or could play, in local economies. The economic profiles were created using publicly available Statistics Canada data, largely from Census 2016. To see Medicine Hat's economic profile click here.
