Effective September 1, employers and employees will be able to agree to straight-time banked overtime hours agreements. Flexible Averaging Agreements are being repealed, as straight-time overtime agreements mean they are no longer needed. Also effective September 1, changes to general holiday pay will take effect, including a return to a qualifying period of 30 days in the last 12 months before a general holiday, and a return to regular and irregular workday distinctions when calculating general holiday pay.
