New Rules for Workplace Health and Safety

Requirements and training for workplace health and safety committees (HSC) and representatives (HS representative). Rather than being committees or representatives required at each worksite, HSC and HS representatives will be required for each employer regardless of how many sites the employer operates. Also, while government-approved training is still mandatory for work site health and safety committee co-chairs and worker representatives, the number of training courses will be reduced from two to one.
