New Funding for Startups to Hire Students

Venture for Canada is focused on injecting young energy into high growth sectors: accelerating the growth of Canadian youth, startups and small businesses through immersive learning opportunities.

Opportunities for Employers

Up to $7,000 in wage subsidies for each post-secondary student hired
A Job Board and a Student Candidate Board if they don’t have a student in mind
Support in hiring, interviewing and onboarding interns
Open to employers from any sector with 500 or fewer employees
Internships start in Jan, May, Sep. Typically 12-18 weeks long
