Provincial Government Looking for Feedback on Alberta Energy Regulator

The provincial government is looking for advice and input from stakeholders and the public on ways to improve the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), while maintaining stringent environmental standards and respecting the rights of landowners. The goal of this review is to identify changes and enhancements to AER's mandate, governance and system operations with the goal of ensuring that Alberta attracts investment with a predictable regulatory regime and maintains its reputation as a world leader in responsible resource development.
